The
Bridgewater Homeowner's Association evicted JoAnne McCarn's tenant and
moved in their own. All over a missed HOA fee that ballooned in to a
lien for thousands of dollars.
Some
court rulings really make you wonder: Is this American Justice?
A
homeowner, who admittedly failed to pay a small amount of dues, was
literally dispossessed of her private property. Is failure of paying
association due reason enough for a judge to allow a HOA to evict the
tenant, change the locks, move in their own renters and threaten the
homeowner with arrest if she comes near her home -- the home still deeded
in her name and no foreclosure proceedings even started?
