Lightning hits Air Conditioner

Yesterday when we heard all those loud bangs, lightning hit a Air Condition Unit, blew out the TV, Computer ice box, and garage door opener. It did well over $1000 worth of damage in this new home in Lake Ashton West. No one was injured but it did wake up the couple. This happen at 5317 Nicklaus Drive. The couple just moved in. The home did not have a Main Surge protector. I urge everyone to have a House Surge Protector install since Lake Ashton is too cheap to install them in their new homes they are building.

Golf ball breaks window

Again, another Golfer breaks a window and thinks his home insurance will pay for damages. Guess again, they won't and Joe Hunter does nothing. We need a pot full on money by Golfers to be put aside for such a occasion. But Joe Hunter refuses to pay attention. What is he getting paid for? Please tell me so I can write it up. I don't thing its going to be much of a big story. NOTHING. This happen to residents at 4484 Turnberry Lane Saturday morning while driving their car thru the main gate. The Golfer was caught red handed and he said he would pay.

Herbicides July 10,2008

Applied Aquatic is here again with 4 sprayers holding 5 gallons of herbicides (five Gallon each) 20 gallons total, spraying the streams that feed Lake Ashton with herbicides. This 20 gallons is only in one area. If you multiply 20 gallons the number of areas then you have a "Herbicide lake". We should call this lake "Lake Herbicide". The sad thing is no one cares. Eat your fish with herbicides. Die of Cancer. All you guys do is watch TV and downgrade these blogs and do nothing.

Couldn't sell home

Another resident try to sell his home with a sign in the garage, but was told to remove it by Joe Hunter. He removed it but his problems did not stop there. A discount sales agent try to sell his home for only 1 1/2 percent commission. He seems like the developer wants everyone here to pay 2 per cent commission to the developer on what they sell their home for. So they had to pay the 2 per cent commission to the developer plus 1 1/2 percent to the sales agent in order to sell his home. He seems like the title companies has rules that sellers here at Lake Ashton must pay the developer 2 per cent. Why is the developer aways involved in the resident selling his home?

NOVEMBER

In November the CDD people will try to control the powers of Joe Hunter, Ben Falk and the developer. We don't want Lake Ashton to be a institution but a community of honest residents. There is no room for any other resident or non-residents to call some residents lairs.

Developer force resident before a judge

Jim Greenwood of Dunmore Drive wanted to sell his home. He decided to place a for sale sign in his garage. It worked, a buyer was driving by and saw the sign and also Joe Hunter. The buyer was interested in buying the home but Joe Hunter was very much interested in calling his boss up and also Jim Greenwood. The first thing he knew he had a lien on his property and could not sell it. He tried to reason with the developer but he would not listen, just like Joe Hunter. They all had to go to court and Jim Greenwood made a settlement with the developer. Yes, he had to pay him money.
This is Paradise some people say, and you are closely watch by Joe Hunter. He knows what you have in your garage because he drives by every day and looks. What a life this guy has. He never helps the residents and he also does not care for them, so what else is new?

LAKEASHTON POSTING A JOB, BIG JOKE

Lake Ashton post job openings in the Ledger on April 14, 2008 for landscape and maintenance, on-site management services, property and gate attendant services, and restaurant operations. This ad only ran ONE DAY. Its like running an ad just for one day for a tenant to rent an apartment. This my friend is a big rip off. Only a fool would believe this is for real. Embankments along streams are being enforced

Plants have been planted along the stream embankments so the mud will not flow into the streams and into the lake. The high embankments with no grass or plants are sliding into Lake Ashton and making the Lake muddy. I told this to Joe Hunter and he said no way can this be true, he just don't listen. I call Southwest Florida Water Management District and they said I was right and made the developer correct the problem. Joe Hunter gets paid $150,000 a year and does nothing, I do everything and I get paid nothing.

Lake Ashton is taken off $40,000 to $100,000 off their homes. Did it ever occur to you that these homes were over price by $40,000 to $100,000. They want you to get behind the wheel and drive down and deal. With gas prices so high, how can you drive down?

Two locations at the same time

Joe Hunter thinks I can be at two locations at the same time. What is wrong with this guy? He is accusing me of being at Lake Ashton when in fact I was in Maine at the same time. I asked for an apology but he has not comply. I guess he makes no mistakes. He can accuse people of anything and he can do no wrong. What a director. Joe Hunter must go.

"Simply the Best"

Lake Ashton has a change of heart. It is now "Simply the best location" and on another billboard on Rt 27 it says "Simply the best choice" Now what is it? Location or choice? They should get their Simply the best billboards straight.

Owner is expecting a baby

A lady in Lake Ashton East is expecting a baby. A 55 plus community, how is this possible. After a few weeks it was notice that it was in Lake Ashton West. A mistake was made. Joe Hunter is looking around for a expecting mother and is going out of his mind trying to find her. Please help Joe Hunter find this soon to be expecting mother. I think he wants her out of here.
