We are given Bingo Paul a week or so to come out with the truth as to where all the money is going and Bingo records and after that, the state will be notify. We just don't want Bingo to be stopped and Paul is holding the cards.

Joe Hunter "Do Nothing" has hired a helper

I just don't believe it, Joe needs help in what he his doing, whatever that is. Could anyone help me as to what he does. Now he has a resident at the Monday morning coffee meeting doing what he use to do, welcome the new residents just to give them hell later. Please tell me what he does? The people of Lake Ashton are fools to believe that Joe needs help and this is costing the residents more money while Joe is taken a longer nap than before. Wake up residents, you are all being made a fool.

No birds allow in Lake Ashton

The ARC Committee told a resident to take down his bird house which was on top of a pole and was in his back yard and in no way could anyone see it. It was between Thomas Nursery Rd and the back of his house. No one could see it! He received a letter from the ARC Committee and they told him to take it down. He never reply to the letter. Later on, he received a knock on his door saying take it down or be fine $150.00/day or will get a contractor to take it down. Well, what choice does he have, he call "Do Nothing" Joe Hunter and got no answer to solve his bird problem. He took the Bird house down only to please the ARC committee, the birds were not so happy.

We had a little chat and I ask her if all the stories are true that you own stock in the developer's enterprises. She says that in no way does the developer and her have anything in common and she does not own any shares in his enterprises. She also told me that I should have call her and I would have gotten this story straight. At this stage of the game, I receive my information from a good source, but in no way can I prove it. Therefore this is only here say, not fact.

She also deny calling the police on me because I had a AK47 in my house. Well I guess Mr Mayor Van Sickle was the villon, he and he alone call the cops. His name was on the police report. This I know for fact.

Boat dock is on CDD proberty! This is News

Have you heard builders, building a house on someones property other than the owner? Our developer build the boat dock on CDD property, now it belongs to the residents of Lake Ashton. He has a lawyer and we have a lawyer and the results will be made public next Friday Nov 13. This should be very interesting. The boat ramp is also on CDD property. I talked to the resident who discover the goof up and I am sure the developer would like to throw this guy out of here and I know a few other he would like to throw out. It is also understood that there will be no fee for using the boat dock. If you can go bowing or play billiards than why should there be a charge for using the boat dock? Its on our property.

paul pontious when he was on the hoa says no smoking outside the main entrance to the clubhouse but he is in charge of bingo now, so he does not tell the bingo players no smoking and joe hunter says nothing about the no smoking ban. ...

What Happen?

Apparently the new developer did not proceed with the correct guide lines. You just can't come with a quote without following the steps. You must first reply to our developer ad and at that time you submit your quote. If he had done this, it would have been a different story. But than again, Margot Stevens and Jake would have voted no. You can't win either way. Screw the residents of Lake Ashton who are sound asleep and are deaf to everything that is going on.

Lake Ashton got sold out! This is a bomb shell

On June 12th while some of you were away or sleeping, the residents of Lake Ashton were sold out to the tune of a quarter of a million dollars.
It seems that one of our residents owns property in another development here in Poke County. Last March, the Manager of that development told the Lake Ashton resident that he would be interested in bidding on all three current contracts here in Lake Ashton.
The resident told him that there was an open bidding process that required him to prepare and submit bids for the management, landscape maintenance and gate attendant contacts.
Requests for Proposal would be issued by the Lake Ashton CDD sometime in August. The prospective bidder did just that. He obtained copies of all three contracts, as well as last year's RFP's (request for Proposal), showing the scope of work and also visited Lake Ashton on many occasions to see what exactly was involved.
He prepared drafts of his bids and waited for announcement of the RFP's in the newspaper. The aggregate total of his bids was a quarter of a million dollars less than the current contracts now in effect and also provided an elevated level of quality and service.
The announcement never came. This action which can only be describe as fiscally irresponsible, Margot Stevens, Jake Eaton and Scott Owens quickly voted not to issue RFP's to the new contractor and extend all three contracts for another year.
Scott Ownes action was expected. He was appointed by the current contractor and serves as an officer in the Developer's corporation. Why then would your fellow residents Margot and Jake vote to obligate you to an additional $250,000/year in operation and maintenance cost? Margot voting record over the past year reveals thae she has steadfastly voted in support of the current contractor on every single issue. Her husband is employed by the developer and is listed in every single issue of the LA Times.
Jake Eaton along with her husband are heavily invested in the developer's real estate ventures.
They inadvertently fail to disclosed this fact on their financial disclosure statements prior to their election in direct violation of state laws.

Halloween costumes. You got to laugh at this one.

A black man and his wife were going to a Halloween party in

buttons, the second is a thick white belt, and the third
item is 2 x 4.

The husband yells at the wife, "What the hell are these for?"

The wife yells back, "take your clothes off. You can put the
three white buttons on the front of you and go as a domino.
If you don't like that one, you can put the white belt on
and go as an Oreo. And if you don't like THAT one, you can
stick the 2 x 4 up your ass and go as a fudgesicle!"

Robinson Family Show

What a flop. I just can't believe that this is good entertainment. Where are they getting these shows? I received two free tickets to go and see the show. I saw the first half and left at intermission, so did others. The entertainment series, as far as I can see only has a few good shows. Would I buy a series ticket? NO They wanted me to pay $325 to rent the hall for a charity show. Crazy. I would never put on a show as bad as this one. They would put on any show to get your money. Don't they ever screen them?

I met the Ashton Grill Executive Chef Miguel Suazo this Nov 2 Monday morning and I ask him about the 30 Health violations he received this year. He said what health violations. I don't believe it. Then I saw Joe Hunter and would you believe he said the same thing. I guess they were all on vacation when this occur.

Yes, they want $2.00 for the Lake Ashton Tel Directory. Does the Tel company charge you money for their Tel Directory. Where does the $2.00 go? I will give you one guess.

Where is the Lake Ashton money going?

Is your dollars leaving this community and lining the pockets of Mark Schreiber and his cronies? Every time you play golf, eat or drink at either the clubhouse or the Eagles Nest, or attend a paid function at the clubhouse or HFC, not one red cent of your money is being returned or reinvested in the Lake Ashton Community. Ever notice that 50% of the ads on "community owned" channel 96 are either directly or indirectly for food or beverage service. WHY?

What does Jake Eaton Mr & Ms Keith and Margot Stevens have in common?

Answer: They all work for the developer and are heavily invested in the current contractor's real estate ventures. Margot and Keith Steavens was in last month issue of the LA Times for teaching square dancing. Jake Eaton and his wife was in this month's L A Times for going to the Octoberfest. Big deal, so did a lot of others. If you look at all the old issues of the L A Times you will find them all pictured in there from month to month. Yes the developer owns the L A times, Channel 96, and their web site Lake Ashton Living. In other words, he controls all the Media. But he does not control Lakeashtontalk.
