This is a single-pipe alpine coaster in Mieders, Austria. You reach the summit via a cablecar and then sit on a small car with a brake lever and off you go. Having ridden it once using a little braking, the guy decided to try it a second time without using the brakes. This is SCARY! Enjoy the ride!

Joe Hunter name is no longer on the inside page of the back cover.  He is a nobody, useless and made a lot of enemies.  He has done nothing to help anyone and if you ask him a question all he would say is go see the CDD or the HOA.  He ban me from sending him my E-Mails, also he send me five letters complaining about me, thanks to Bingo Paul Pontious,  he just wouldn't listen.  He even ban me for putting on shows at the Clubhouse.  He goes to the CDD meeting, sits down for 5 minutes and gets up, leaves for 5 minutes and come back and repeats the same cycle again and again.  He must have a problem with his bowels.  He has done nothing to help the residents of Lake Ashton, nothing except kill the alligators.  He  should be ashamed of himself, now has you walk along the banks of the ponds you will see nothing.  I think I should put a bait on a hook and catch a Joe Hunter, but who will want him?  Maybe a Bingo Paul Pontious.

A young man named John received a parrot as a gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary.



Every word out of the bird's' mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity.  John tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else he could think of to 'clean up' the bird's vocabulary.



Finally, John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot. The  parrot yelled back. John shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even more rude. John, in desperation, threw up his hand, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed.  

Then suddenly there was total quiet.  Not a peep was heard

for over a minute.



Fearing that he'd hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the  freezer.  The parrot calmly stepped out onto John's outstretched arms and said "I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions.  I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and

unforgivable behavior."



John was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. 



As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird spoke-up, very softly, "May I ask what the turkey did?"

A Massachusetts fisherman pulled in an 881-pound tuna this week only to have the federal authorities take it away. It sounds like a libertarian twist on the classic novella by Ernest Hemingway, The Old Man and the Sea, but for Carlos Rafael, the saga is completely true.
Rafael and his crew were using nets to catch bottom-dwellers when they inadvertently snagged the giant tuna. However, federal fishery enforcement agents took control of the behemoth when the boat returned to port. The reason for the seizure was procedural: While Rafael had the appropriate permits, fishermen are only allowed to catch tuna with a rod and reel.
It would seem that unlike the fictional New England shark hunters in Jaws, Rafael didn't need a bigger boat, just a better permit.

In an interview with the Standard-Times of New Bedford, Rafael disputes the claims from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA)  enforcement division that the humungous tuna was trawled from the bottom of the Atlantic. "They didn't catch that fish on the bottom," he said. "They probably got it in the mid-water when they were setting out and it just got corralled in the net. That only happens once in a blue moon."
And while Rafael is denied the mother of all fish stories, the federal impoundment of his catch also means he's probably losing out on a giant payday. A 754-pound tuna recently sold for nearly $396,000. NOAA regulators do not share any of the proceeds from the fish's eventual sale with a fisherman found in violation of federal rules.
"They said it had to be caught with rod and reel," a frustrated Rafael said. "We didn't try to hide anything. We did everything by the book. Nobody ever told me we couldn't catch it with a net."
Rafael says he has meticulously prepared for a giant catch like this, purchasing 15 tuna permits over the past four years for his groundfish boats. He even immediately called a "bluefin tuna hot line" (yes, such things exist) to report his catch. "I wanted to sell the fish while it was fresh instead of letting it age on the boat," he said. "It was a beautiful fish."
Proceeds of the sale from the fish will be held in an account until the case is resolved, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Office of Law Enforcement. "The matter is still under investigation," said Monica Allen, deputy director with NOAA Fisheries public affairs. "If it's determined that there has been a violation, the money will go into the asset forfeiture fund."

Today I was incensed at the conclusion of a traditional Serbian-Orthodox funeral for my beloved 85-year-old uncle, Daniel Martich,  who proudly served in the US Army during the Korean conflict.  During the committal service at a Pittsburgh cemetery the local military detachment performed their ritual, then folded and presented the American Flag to my aunt. 

 

As I'm sure you have witnessed during military funerals, a soldier bends to one knee and recites a scripted message to a surviving relative that begins  'On behalf of the President of the United States and a grateful nation, I wish to present you with this flag in appreciation for your husband's service ...' 

 

However, today the dialogue was 'On behalf of the Secretary of Defense and a grateful nation...' 

After the service, I approached the soldier who presented the flag to my aunt to inquire about the change in language.  His response was:  "The White House notified all military funeral service detachments to immediately remove 'the President' and insert 'the Secretary of Defense'. 

 

I couldn't believe what I heard and the soldier just smiled and said, "You can draw your own conclusion, Sir, but that was the order".  He, too, was ashamed of what he was required to say.

Obama has taken off the gloves.  My only response to this endless cesspool of anti-American rhetoric dripping from his mouth is to borrow a phrase "with one minor change" uttered by another temporary Washington resident living in government housing (his wife!):  "Today for the first time in my adult life, I am ashamed of the current U.S. President!" 

 

I did not serve in the military but my love of country parallels that of people like my late uncle who bled red, white and blue.  As a second generation Serbian-American who's heritage produced many patriotic military men and women who fought for freedom both in the United States as well as in the former Yugoslavia (most recently in Kosovo against the slaughter of Serbs by Muslim extremists), I implore you to make the American people aware of this little-known or, at least, publicly acknowledged fact.

May God Bless you and your family during these difficult times.  Your voice of reason is a welcome change from the insanity plastered across the country by the liberal media.  Keep up the great work and thank you for your service to our country.

In 1998, the US embassies in Kenya and  Tanzania were bombed by Muslim male extremists.   11. On 9/11/01, four airliners were hijacked; two were used as missiles to take down the World Trade Centers and of the  remaining two, one crashed into the US Pentagon and the other was diverted and crashed by the passengers. Thousands of people  were killed by Muslim male extremists.   12. In 2002, the United States fought a war in Afghanistan against Muslim male extremists.   13. In 2002, reporter Daniel Pearl was kidnapped and murdered by--- you guessed it---Muslim male extremists.   No, I really don't  see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you? So, to ensure  we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent  on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be  allowed to profile certain people... Absolutely No Profiling!   They must conduct random searches of  80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper  identification, secret agents who are members of the President's  security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and  Medal of Honor winner and former Governor Joe Foss, but  leave Muslim Males alone lest they be guilty of  profiling.       Have the American People  completely lost their Minds, or just their Power of Reason???        Let's send this to as many people as we  can so that the Gloria Aldreds and other stupid attorneys along  with Federal Justices that want to thwart common sense, feel  ashamed of themselves -- if they have any such sense.   As the writer of the award winning story 'Forrest Gump' so aptly put it, 'Stupid Is As Stupid Does'   Each  opportunity that you have to send it to a friend or media  outlet...do it! or again  . . just delete if you disagree..
