Lets talk about oil in the U.S.

As you may know, Cruz Construction started a division in North Dakota just 6 months ago. They sent every Kenworth (9 trucks) we had here in Alaska to North Dakota and several drivers.

They just bought two new Kenworth's to add to that fleet; one being a Tri Drive tractor and a new 65 ton lowboy to go with it. They also bought two new cranes (one crawler & one rubber tired) for that division.

Dave Cruz said they have moved more rigs in the last 6 months in ND than Cruz Construction moved in Alaska in the last 6 years.

Williston , ND is like a gold rush town; they moved one of our 40 man camps down there since there are no rooms available.

Unemployment in ND is the lowest in the nation at 3.4 percent last I checked.

See anything in the national news about how the oil industry is fueling North Dakota 's economy?

Here's an astonishing read. Important and verifiable information:

About 6 months ago, the writer was watching a news program on oil and one of the Forbes Bros. Was the guest.

The host said to Forbes, "I am going to ask you a direct question and I would like a direct answer. How much oil does the U.S. have in the ground?" Forbes did not miss a beat, he said, "more than all the Middle East put together."

The U. S.. Geological Service issued a report in April 2008 that only scientists and oil men knew was coming, but man was it big.

It was a revised report (hadn't been updated since 1995) on how much oil was in this area of the western 2/3 of North Dakota,Western South Dakota, and extreme eastern Montana .

Check THIS out:

The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska 's Prudhoe Bay , and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable( 5 billion barrels), at $107 a barrel.

We're looking at a resource base worth more than $5.3 trillion.

"When I first briefed legislators on this, you could practically see their jaws hit the
floor. They had no idea.." says Terry Johnson, the Montana Legislature's financial analyst.

"This sizable find is now the highest-producing onshore oil field found in the past 56 years," reportsThe Pittsburgh Post Gazette. It's a formation known as the Williston Basin , but is more commonly referred to as the 'Bakken.'

It stretches from Northern Montana, through North Dakota and into Canada .

For years, U. S. Oil exploration has been considered a dead end. Even the 'Big Oil' companies gave up searching for major oil wells decades ago.

However, a recent technological breakthrough has opened up the Bakken's massive reserves, and we now have access of up to 500 billion barrels. And because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16 PER BARREL !!!!!!

That's enough crude to fully fuel the American economy for 2041 years straight.

And if THAT didn't throw you on the floor, then this next one should - because it's from 2006 !!!!!! U. S. Oil Discovery - Largest Reserve in the World - Stansberry Report Online - 4/20/2006

Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface of the Rocky Mountains lies the largest untapped oil reserve in the world. It is more than 2 TRILLION barrels. On August 8, 2005 President Bush mandated its extraction.

In three and a half years of high oil prices none has been extracted. With this motherload of oil why are we still fighting over off- shore drilling?

They reported this stunning news:
We have more oil inside our borders, than all the other proven reserves on earth.

Here are the official estimates:
8 times as much oil as Saudi Arabia
18 times as much oil as Iraq
21 times as much oil as Kuwait
22 times as much oil as Iran
500 times as much oil as Yemen

And it's all right here in the Western United States !!!!!!

HOW can this BE? HOW can we NOT BE extracting this? Because the environmentalists and others have blocked all efforts to help America become independent of foreign oil! Again, we are letting a small group of people dictate our lives and our economy. WHY?

James Bartis, lead researcher with the study says we've got more oil in this very compact area than the entire Middle East, more than 2 TRILLION barrels untapped. That's more than all the proven oil reserves of crude oil in the world today, reports The Denver Post.

Don't think 'OPEC' will drop its price even with this find? Think again! It's all about the competitive marketplace, and it has to.
Think OPEC just might be funding the environmentalists?

Got your attention yet? Now, while you're thinking about it, do this:
Pass this along. If you don't take a little time to do this, then you should stifle yourself the next time you complain about gas prices, by doing NOTHING, you forfeit your right to complain.

Now I just wonder what would happen in this country if every one of you sent this to every one in your address book.

Larry Maxwell

Yes, it was Larry who stole the trophy heads from the billard room hoping no one would say anything.  But we did.  He had to pay $30,000 to replace them.  They were estimated to be worth  over $40,000.  This guy always gets away with everything.  This guy steals the trophy's and I only left my card in the library and I get ban for 4 months thanks to the witched witch Trish Adams who has done nothing to help the residents of Lake Ashton. When we first moved here 6 years ago we had many activities going on.  Now there are just a few.things going on.  Adams has destroyed this community.  I tried to get a few shows here but she always gave me a hard time.  This community has gone to hell.

Lake Ashton Community

This is a 55 plus community, but you will never know it.  NO sidewalks, narrow roads, short and narrow driveways, just 20 feet long, just long enough for a small car, not enough for a larger car or truck just enough to save a few bucks on bricks and sidewalks.  He doesn't care if you get smash by a car.  .  Lets look at how friendly the developer is.  You bring a friend here from the outside and he pays just $40.00 to play golf and you the resident must pay $100.00.  This makes no sense at all.  Remember the Chinese drywall.  It just so happens the developer construction company went belly up.  Lets look at the storage area, The building collapsed 2 times and it had to be rebuild.  When it was rebuild it became hard to drive in or back up in the unit.  Also he provided NO sewer dumping for the RV's or motor homes.  He also charged high prices for storing your RV or Motor home, $50.00 plus tax.

Lets look at the boat ramp, he wanted $50.00 a month plus tax to leave your boat at the ramp.  The boat ramp is on CDD property, we pay the tax and he keeps the money.  What a deal.  No one was leaving their boat there because of the cost.  You must leave your boat trailer in the storage area for a additional $50.00 a month.  Now he charges $40.00/month. Total cost $90.00/month plus tax.

Remember the restaurant,   He breaks the dishes or chairs or anything and we pay to repair or replace them.  We pay his water bill, cleaning  and the taxes and he gets to keep the profit.  Coffee on Monday morning. we pay and he keeps.  What a deal.

This place is on swamp land and he build the roads without piping or any additional gravel.  Now the roads are sinking and there are sink holes all over this community and we have to pay to repair them.  Public roads and we repair them, makes no sense at all.  All because of the bonds from the city of Lake Wales.

MX, cable and ADT security, we are required to pay as if we can't do it on our own.  We even pay when we are gone for the summer.  This my friends is the biggest rip-off this community has.  Yes are all being taken to the cleaners by the developer.  Why, because no one thinks or cares.  Most of the residents in this community thinks their head is used only to place your hat on.

Got a problem, can't use their internet to present the problem.  They won't allow you.  Can't call because it won't do any good.  It all falls on deaf ears.  You are on your own, good luck.  If you complain too much you will be ban from the clubhouse for 4 months.  I know.

South Florida sees nearly 53 percent spike in foreclosure filings

South Florida laid claim to the second-highest increase nationwide in foreclosure activity for a metropolitan area last month as banks got a "green light" to pursue cases from the $25 billion settlement with the state attorneys general, experts said.
Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties saw a 52.7 percent spike in total foreclosure filings in February compared with the same time in 2011, according to a report to be released today by Irvine, Calif.-based RealtyTrac.
The Tampa area saw the highest increase nationwide with a jump of 64 percent.
Statewide, overall foreclosure filings, which include initial notices, notices of sale and repossessions, were 40 percent higher in February than the previous year.
RealtyTrac analysts and foreclosure defense attorneys attribute the increases to the Feb. 9 agreement with the nation's five largest banks that outlines foreclosure filing standards while also forgiving civil robo-signing complaints.
"The velocity of new foreclosures has doubled if not tripled since the settlement," said foreclosure defense attorney Roy Oppenheim. "It's like they've been given a green light to go ahead and prosecute."
Oppenheim said he had to remodel his Weston office to accommodate more attorneys to keep up with demand for foreclosure defense.
Although foreclosure activity was down 8 percent nationwide from February 2011, 21 states posted overall increases. That's the most states with annual increases since November 2010.
Bank repossessions - the final stage of foreclosure - showed some of the largest spikes in filings. In South Florida, repossessions jumped 121 percent compared with a year ago and 90 percent statewide, RealtyTrac reported.
"Keep in mind we are coming off very low levels a year ago," said RealtyTrac spokesman Daren Blomquist. "But it shows the foreclosure log jam is breaking up and that properties are not just starting the foreclosure process at a faster rate but finishing it also."
Blomquist said that while the worst of the nation's foreclosure crisis is history, there will be spurts of heightened activity following the bank settlement. The agreement was filed Monday in federal court and awaits a judge's approval before it can be finalized.
RealtyTrac CEO Brandon Moore said the settlement "will help pave the way to a properly functioning foreclosure process."
RealtyTrac estimates that 2.2 million homes will have foreclosure filings against them in 2012, up from 1.9 million last year, but lower than the 2.8 million in 2010.
"I think we'll see a steady set of waves of foreclosures coming through this year, but not one big massive swell," Blomquist said.
RealtyTrac reported lower new foreclosure filings in Palm Beach County than what was released by the clerk of courts last week. But the company's findings of a general increase statewide compared with 2011 did follow the clerk's report of a 58.5 percent jump in Palm Beach County's February filings from the previous year.
