Sad Day
My neighbor across the street are 92 and 93 Years old. She has to walk using a walker and he has to do the same. Every morning when I pick up my paper The Ledger, I quietly run across the street, still in my pajamas, and place their paper in the front porch on the chair. Yesterday, their daughter came over and said that her brother died of a massive heart attack. Just last week I saw their son, 55 years old and told him we will be gone that weekend so he can park in our driveway. My heart goes out to my friends across the street. As you might know I also lost two of my daughters to breast cancer. I know how it feels to lose someone that are very close to you. Please pray for this couple. Thanks

Trish Adams, the wicked witch
I will lay it all on the line, she has no love for me or for any one. For her to ban me at the age of 73 from going into the clubhouse is disgusting. Any Tom Dick ans Harry from the outside can come in. She has trouble with her marriage and now she is doing a survey for the most important person in Lake ASHTON. Please vote for me Ed King on that survey and let her know where we stand. They wanted to poison you with all those herbicides in the lake, they wanted to stop you for parking your pick-up truck on your driveway and they didn't care about all that mud flowing into the lake. Tell her what you think of her. Her phone number is 863-324-5457. She has done nothing but create rules for her friends and those for not her friends. This lady is sick and needs help. Last year they did a survey and never let you know the results. She is all hogwash. She calls this a feedback survey! See page 9 of the L A Times. She will never feedback any info about this survey. Lake Ashton Community
Lake Ashton is being recognized as a top contender and a official finalist for the Communities of Excellence awards, Civic Volunteerism and Advocacy and Safety & Security Initiatives.
You got to be kidding, who have these people been talking to? The dishonest Management who goes around accusing residents of anything they want? We have no one to talk to. And no place to post our grievances. They only tell us what they want us to hear but we can’t tell them. Sounds like a communist country.
This is a 50 plus community yet, there are no sidewalks, you got to walk in the road.
Talking about roads, there are more sink holes in the roads than you have fingers on your hand.
We are now paying to repair the roads. The roads are cracking up and falling apart because they were build on muddy soil and swamp land. The developer has refuse to repair them.
If you are a resident golfer, you must pay $100.00 and you friend will only pay $40.00 because he is not a resident. Makes no sense at all.
Storage fee’s are out of sight $50.00/mo plus tax to park your boat or trailer in their parking lot..
We are force to pay a MX fee for cable and ADT of $72.00/mo. With no HD cable or internet service.
The clubhouse is now a public building, no taxes are paid on it, yet they ban me for 4 months because of my blog. Lakeashtontalk.blodspot.com. They just don’t want the truth to come out.
The developer went into the billiard room and took all the animal heads off the wall and left us with a large repair bill. Now we need to replace the wallpaper because of the outline of the heads on the wall.
He build a bowing alley using second hand or used parts. This fell apart after a few years. He also build it on wet ground and the dampness destroyed the parts. Cost us a great deal of money, over $100,000.00.
We have Bingo every Monday night not knowing the extra money was going into the pocket of the person who was running it Thousands of dollars was spend taking all his friends by bus to high price restaurants. Filling up his gas tank, buying food for his home and they don’t say or do nothing.
The Community Director has now been replaced by a relation to the developer. We are still under the control of the developer.
Trish Adams has complete control over the LA Times and no story will ever be posted that is a treat to this community, for example, house and car break ins will never be told.
The management and the CDD gets 50% off their meals at the clubhouse restaurant. Why?
After I expose Bingo of not paying state , Federal taxes and not given money to Public charity he went around the back of my house and the front of my house, outside the clubhouse and inside the clubhouse and called me a idiot. I notify management and they did nothing. Reason, he was taking the management out to dinner.
We received our taxes ($190,000) back from the city of Lake Wales. This money was never given back to us but is still in the hands of the management. Some residents have sold their homes and will never get their refund money back. It now makes 2 years.
If a resident wants to use the clubhouse they have to pay $375.00 even thou they pay their maintenance of $1900.00 every year

Joe Hunter was Community Director of Lake Ashton East untill he was replaced by Trish Adams, a relation to Larry Maxwell, the developer. He was also a SOB of a lair, accusing the residents of things they did not do. Paul Pontious is a great friend of Joe. They are both big lairs. Paul has almost 1000 pages of information in the hands of the State attorney general. Any time now he will serve papers on Paul Pontious and this community will become a big black eye in the state of Florida. George Flint refuses to look into the allegations into Joe Hunter and Paul Pontious. But they waste no time evicting me of selling something. My card is commercial but what am I selling? There are over 500 cards in the library and they are selling things. I just don't get it. I guess they hate the truth and my blog.

George Flint
George Flint has violated the Sunshine rules by calling together the CDD members and asking them for their vote. You can not call a meeting unless it is in front of the residents. He wanted them to vote his management in to supervise Lake Ashton.

CDD Candidate
Today I am announcing my candidacy for the position of the CDD of Lake Ashton in Lake Wales, Fl. I will follow the steps of the late Jeff Salvin. My main goal is to weed out the crooks, thief’s, liars, dummy’s and the undesirables that are now presently running the CDD here at Lake Ashton. We can not afford 2 more years of the present leaders. Each CDD candidate has either called the police on us, they have stole money from all the Bingo Players, They have chat meetings and give out false information and thinks they know all the answers (she is still working on the drain pipes), and violated the Lake Ashton amenity’s by placing voting signs all around the club house. None, not one has any of these CDD members has ever done anything for the residents of Lake Ashton but cause trouble.
I also wish to make known that no Community District Leader Director shall have a shirt unbutton and open that exposes her breast to the senior residents of Lake Ashton. That person will be fired. Also any director caught lying shall also be fired.
My first deed is to fired those people I just mention. My second deed is to eliminate the $375.00 fee to use the club house. We all pay maintenance fees, its our community and clubhouse so why should we pay extra. My second deed is to raise the fee for Bingo to $750.00. Over 50% of the people are from the outside. I will lower the maintenance fees by getting red of the dead wood (Jan Carpenter and George Flint) and many other too numerous to mention.
Here is what I have done for this community!
1. I have stopped the spraying of Herbicides in Lake Ashton, and the state issue a violation to the management of the community, Lake Ashton Development Group Lawrence T. Maxwell. They had 30 days to address this deficiency. File #43021302.000
2. I have stopped the flow of mud into Lake Ashton and also the state ordered the management to plant trees and scrubs along the banks of the streams. They issue a violation to the management.
3. I stop the ban of Pick-up trucks here in Lake Ashton, without much help from the residents. I Got The Ledger involved and Channel 10 News. I still have the front page headlines newspaper dated March 2, 2006.
4. I had the ELVIS show with a full house. All money went to help Give Kids the World.
I asked the present CDD members what have you done to help people live better here at Lake Ashton? Answer: Ban Ed King for 4 months from the clubhouse. Yes, the person who has done more than anyone else in this community. What a bunch of ??????? And not only that, they wanted to sue the developer over the road issue and changed their minds after spending $78.000. What a bunch of ???????? Our Money gone to hell
