Bigger than Watergate

We have a story that will blow your mind, Its bigger than Watergate.
1. Paul Pontious took over Bingo 4 years ago and never paid IRS or state taxes on the profits he received from his illegal 50/50, concession stand and Bingo.
2. He took hundreds of Lake Ashton residents to dinner by bus to high price restaurants.
3. He manage to have his wife and friends elected to the CDD by all the people he took out to dinner with money by unknowing Bingo players.
4. Florida Bingo law says all profits (501-C) says it must go to charity.
5. We notify the Sheriff Dept in Lake Wales 863-297-3101 over 6 months, April 4, 2010 and talked to Inspector Obitz. We send him all four (4) bank records and the report from Paul V. Hawkins, Forensic Accountant who said there were over $40,000 missing.
6. After weeks of calling Mr Obitz who said he is looking into it, gave the case to other detectives to look at because it was too big of a case.
7 Finally after many phone calls to other Inspectors they are still looking into the case.
8. On January 10, Sheriff Judd Grady came to our Monday morning Coffee meeting and did a talk about justice.
9, After his talk, Bab Salvin, wife of Jeff Salvin CDD BOD talk with Sheriff Judd after the meeting, what is going on with our Bingo investigation with Paul Pontious? He said he will look into it.
10. The following day we were all called into the clubhouse at 1 o'clock. None other than the off the case inspector Obitz made a comment about the case.
11. He said there are so many people involved and too many mistakes made that for the good of the community, all violations of this crime has been dropped. Case dismiss.
12. Mayor of Lake Wales, Jack Van Sickle was on the Bingo committee, and his wife was also elected to the CDD BOD.
13. The elections here at Lake Ashton were fixed by taken hundreds of residents to dinner.
14. When we received our all our papers back from Inspector Obitz, it appears none was looked at.
15. This case was doom from the beginning.
16. Was the developer Larry Maxwell, Lake Wales Mayor Jack Van Sickle, HOA BOD involved? I believe they were.
