Lake Ashton Grill

A hiker was stumbling through the woods, desperate looking for water, when he saw something, far off in the distance. Hoping to find water, he walked towards the image, only to find the community director at Sunshine Flea Market sitting at the card table with a bunch of neckties laid out. The parched wanderer asked, "Please, I'm dying of thirst, can I have some water?" The man replied "I don't have any water but why don't you buy a tie? "Here's one that goes nicely with your clothes". The desperate man shouted, "I don't want a tie, you idiot, I need water!" "OK, don't buy a tie. But to show you what a nice guy I am, I'll tell you just past that lake, about 3 miles, is a nice restaurant. "Walk that way, they'll give you all the water you want". Three hours later he returned. The man at the card table asked, "I told you, 3 miles over by the lake, Couldn't you find it?" " I found it all right. They wouldn't let me in without a tie."

Lake Ashton West

If a person sells his home on his own he still has to pay the developer 2% of the selling price. Good deal. Developer needs the money. Lake Ashton east does not have this in their deed. You still want to merge?

ARC

Architectural Review Committee is now looking for new inspectors without pay to help the developer who can't afford to pay these guys after making millions to inspect homes to see if they are downgrading the community by planting flowers, trees, adding a walkway or whatever. There is a sucker in every crowd. Go for it. You get no thanks for taken on this thankless job. Elections are on Dec 12 from 10 to 1 PM. Sorry, my name is not on the list.

To Be or Not To Be

Lake Ashton West homeowners Assoc wants to join Lake Ashton East homeowners Assoc, that my friend will never happen if the deed restriction are not the same. First we have to understand that this merger makes sense If the two communities and deeds are identical in every respect. If the two communities are to be identical then the deed restrictions should be identical, except for the description of the properties involved. THE DEED RESTRICTIONS ARE NOT CURRENTLY IDENTICAL AND WOULD NEED TO BE AMENDED AND THIS REQUIRES THE CONSENT OF THE MAJORITY OF THE LOT OWNERS. IF AND WHEN THE DEED RESTRICTIONS WERE IDENTICAL THEN LAKE ASHTON WEST HOA, COULD MERGED INTO LAKE ASHTON HOA AND THIS REQUIRES THE CONSENT OF THE MAJORITY OF THE SHAREHOLDERS OF THE MERGER OF TWO UNRELATED CORPS. IT WOULD GOVEN BOTH LAKE ASHTON AND LAKE ASHTON WEST, PURSUANT TO ONE SET OF BYLAWS, ONE SET OF RULES, AND ONE SET OF DEED RESTRICTIONS. Presently their deed restrictions Lake Ashton West is different than Lake Ashton East. Too many complicated problems with two sets of deed restrictions and too difficult task to discuss depending on the extent of those differences. It would be a grave mistake to become one.

Moved to Vero Beach

Nancy and Ralph Hartsock moved from Biirkdale Dr. to Vero Beach, Florida which he calls Paradise. He says that he is sick of Joe Hunter doing nothing when he complain about all the kids playing in front of his house every weekend plus all the politics. He shown me around his new home and he says he's never been so happy. Nancy was busy playing cards in the club house when we got there.

Also Marsha Braun moved from Dunmore Dr. to Vero Beach. She says she is sick and tired of the polities, high taxes and fees here at Lake Ashton. She also calls her new home Paradise. Joe Hunter has got it all wrong. Paradise is also at Vero Beach.

herbicides

He seems herbicides are no longer being sprayed here at Lake Ashton. Weeds are now growing in the streams that feed Lake Ashton. After I told Joe Hunter about the Herbicides being sprayed in the Lake he would not do nothing, like always. You can all thank me, Applied Aquatic is no longer spraying herbicides in Lake Ashton.

Naughty or Nice

Joe Hunter says if your naughty he will suspend all the amenity facilities for one week even if your 1600 miles away when this naughty naughty happens. He just loves to scare people living in this community. He wants you to know he is the boss. Just tell this guy something and he goes overboard and sends you a letter. I know, I received that letter.
