John was one of the most honest board member ever elected to the CDD board. He would come out at the meeting to clearly explain to the residents what they were talking about. He fought for this community to be the best, the greatest, and above all, a great place to live. Than Jake Eaten, the snake came along and slander John with all his lies on the papers he place on the tables at the Monday morning coffee meetings with permission from Trish Adams. On all papers that had John Chickness running for the CDD that he had posted , someone wrote on the papers for all to see, John you are a lair etc. We can only guess who done this but have no evidence to prove it. Yes, John was defeated in the election, thanks to Jake Eaten and Trish Adams with all the illegal signs he place around the clubhouse at voting time, he clearly violated the rules of Lake Ashton. Yet I was ban from the clubhouse for Three Months for placing my card with 500 others saying "making this a better community to live in. This my friends clearly shows Larry Maxwell is still in charge with Trish Adams being related to the developer. They only want you to hear what they have to say not for you to say anything. John wants no part of being involved in this community. This pressure he was in cause his wife to have a stroke. John is 84 Years old and still looking good. I know clearly what he going thru. I can't blame him, everyone thinks this is a great community, now wrong you are. I've had many, many people tell me if they knew that all this corruption was going on they would have never bought a home in this community, including John and me.
