ADT has not been paid. But you paid it.

Mr. David Ross
Lake Ashton BOD President,

Last month I had made a call to ADT concerning a monitoring certificate being requested from my Homeowners Insurance Company.

During that conversation, I was informed that there was an outstanding balance of $45.00 due on this account since November 1, 2010. This was from the quarterly billing that was sent to MX Communications, and due by November 1, 2010. When I called ADT again today, I was informed that the $45.00 balance still had not been paid, and that the next quarterly billing would be due by February 1, 2011.

I was told that even though MX Communications receives the billing statement, the homeowner would be the one considered in default if the bill is not paid, and sent to collections.

I also had a few neighbors contact ADT, and found that they also have an outstanding bill of $45.00 since November 1, 2010. This leads me to believe that each and every one else in Lake Ashton has an outstanding balance with ADT, because Mr. Maxwell and MX Communications has not paid ADT for the services that we pay MX Communications on a monthly basis.

Who stands to lose here? Not MX Communications, but each and every homeowner in Lake Ashton, because we are forced to pay MX Communications for this service. This is likened to the renters that are evicted form their homes because the Bank foreclosed on the owner that didn't pay the mortgage.

The Lake Ashton HOA needs to investigate this situation immediately before the next payment is due ADT.

Sincerely,

Resident Lake Ashton East.
