Maintenance fees are going up
Maintenance fees are being increase over $300.00 this year. They don't tell you where the money is going along with the bill, just pay it and shut-up. Total bill should be over $1600.00. Good luck Just think, $300 this year $300 next year $300 every year thereafter. Decade from now we are looking at $4600

Fees MAY go up to $1600.00. If you recall, last year there was the possibility they would have gone up to $1500.00 and they did not. If I recall correctly they were only raised $50. And by the way, what doesn't go up in this day and age?

I don't believe that Ed King is a Lake Ashton property owner, is he ? He used to be, but I believe he sold out last fall.
Property records shows he does not own any property in Lake Ashton..
The only peoperty that Edmund King owns in Polk County ia a motor-coach lot in Polk City's Mt. Olive Shores (North) which he has owned since Oct. 2005. He just 'hangs his hat" in Lake Ashton.
Ed King is not dumb, he knows enough not to invest in property here at lake Ashton, This place is too dishonest and it pays no attention to the residents. Lake Ashton sprays herbicides in the lake to get rid of some of the residences.
If you think Maintenance Fees are high now, just wait until after the CDD elections. Some of the same nitwits that are now screwing up our homeowner's association just can't wait to get on the CDD and screw that up, too. Why can't they just do their job and enforce the rules that are already on the books instead of running around looking to get other people to do their work for them. From HOA to CDD....Hahahahah. Not my vote......not in a million years.
