Security

Yellow lights flashing, securing golf carts going past your house and the police car going by.  What the hell is this all about?  They won't tell you but crime in Lake Ashton is still going on at a high rate.  House break-ins, car broken into and mail boxes mail being taken.  They will never tell you and golfers being attack by alligators.  Sorry, this place is the best.  BEST WHAT?  Only a fool will believe all the crap in the L A News.  No fishing off the bridge, register your guest.  What a friendly paper.  It tells you NOTHING.

Bingo and the pool

This Bingo at Lake Ashton  should be for the residents only, not the people on the outside!  Why are they charging so much to buy the bingo cards?  Where are all this money going?  Why is Bingo not paying state taxes on the concession stand?  Why are they in much trouble with the state?  You people will never know because you just don't give a damn and you can't read it in the L A Times.   More employee's must be hired at the gate because of all the Bingo players driving in.  Bingo should be for residents only not for outside residents.  Now you  have a security guard in the pool area, you are now enjoying your time at the pool and this security guy comes up and ask for ID.  What a community this is.  It's for all the people in the area.  This is a  Public community, not a private one.  Sorry folks, I don't make the rules.  Because you bought your home here doesn't mean it's a great community.  You can't walk freely in Lake Wales without getting mug. Even living in this community you home is a target for robbery.

This new community

We can place a for sale sign in front of our house in our new community.  Try doing that at Lake Ashton.  Larry Maxwell wants 3 ½ % of the sale.  He gets more than the person  that sells the home.  That is why you can’t place a for sale sign in front of your house.  Its money in his pocket and he does not give a damn about you selling your home.  No side walks at Lake Ashton.  We have two wide side walks 7 ft. wide on each side of the road.  Plus we have a standard wide roadway with a white line on each side of the main road for bicycles.  We even have a walking trial with sidewalks.  Not at Lake Ashton, you have nothing.   Lake Ashton is a “Walk in the road community“.   At Lake Ashton there are approx 75 homes for sale in a community of 1200 homes.  Here in this community you have less than 10 homes for sale out of approx 1200 homes.  This alone tells you something.  People love it here and made a very wise choice.    The  driveways in front of each home are over 45-60ft long.  Larry Maxwell tries to cut corners just to save money in his pocket.  I had to park my truck in the arc of the garage door to make it fit in the driveway.
