TRADITIONS & LAKE ASHTON

Tradition Community build by Lannar builders seems to have pull one over on the home owners. All Home owners has to pay $100.00 per month to belong to the clubhouse at Lake Ruby in addition to the HOA fees. Every large builder has his hand in everyone's pocket including our developer Larry Maxwell. He owns the Lake Ashton Clubhouses and he keeps all the profits, even thou the salesladies says upon buying your home this is your clubhouse and this is a gated Community. You should know by now, this is not a gated community but a public community, any Tom Dick or Harry can drive in. No problem. At one time in the future this clubhouse will be turn over to us and be assure you will be charge extra for using the club house. He raised the fees for storage over 100%, Golf 10% and there will be more to come. It was said that he is now renting the club house from us for $50,000 a year, and keeps the rest of the money. Have you read the white sheet that is enclosed in the LA Times. Here is a guy that says don't do this and don't do that and he says at the end of the letter just another day in Paradise. Register your guest, renters must bring lease agreement to verify the length of stay, pick up copy of additional amenities at office, alligators will be destroyed, don't fish off bridges, lock your doors and windows, he doesn't tell you why. many homes and cars here are being broken in, no over night parking at clubhouse, no parking in front of clubhouse, pets must be lease, dispose pet droppings in your own trash, planting and trimming are prohibited in wetlands, yet windows are being smash by poor golf players and he doesn't tell them to please notify the owner. What a guy, give me a break.

Yes this is paradise, that is why he does't live here. He loves to tell people what to do. Don't let him scare you. How many people has he hired that quit, Bar tenter, cook, activities director, two golf pros, the last one shot himself, etc. Yet this guy is still on the job in his windowless office.

Core Samples Passed

I have come to a conclusion that the $15,000.00 paid to the Florida Testing & Environmental Inc., by residents, for 72 core samples in which only 3 samples prove to fail by just a very small margin was just a waste of good money. The margin was so small that I feel in a court of law the judge will dismiss the case. The field density test was done by dropping a 140lb hammer 30 inches and also drilling six feet deep holes to check the total thickness of each component and stabilized subbase. The standard required for passing is 1 1/2 inches of asphaltic of concrete surface course, 6 inches of base course, and 8 inches of stabilized subgrade with a total design structural of 2.18. The total high was 2.87 with a total low of 2.00 giving a average of 2.37 which exceeds the required structural design.
All those residents got was a 90 page pavement evaluation report done on August 4, 2008 of core samples done at Lake Ashton only .04% failed and 99.7% passed.

CORE SAMPLES BIG SECRET

What is the secret? Why does a person have to call George Flint to get a straight answer and then again is the answer straight. I am not interested in calling him. He send me a letter not to use the pond water next to my house, after I notify the state that the rain water was making the soil on the banks of the stream flow into the lake. They had to plant trees around the streams. I feel so sorry for them. I got no Thanks for protecting Lake Ashton from being black with mud. . Before I did this I call Joe Hunter and he gave me nothing but bull shit. They want everyone to shut up and keep silent Everyone is so brain wash that they are afraid to say anything about Lake Ashton. If you say anything bad about Lake Ashton, they will be on your back in no time. Joe Hunter accuse me of placing my Blog information on golf Carts when in fact I was 1500 miles away in Maine. The developer is getting on their backs to get on our backs. Just because he is not selling his homes like he wanted to, because the home market is down and all he wants is positive news. He does not want anyone to know about the roads. I am sure he has told all CDD members to shut up and them call George Flint to get core samples information. This is so sick, I will not lower myself to call. I am 100% sure when all the snowbirds are back at Lake Ashton they want answers and they are not going to call George Flint who wants to keep all the core sample information and water himself.
