my candidacy
Today I am announcing my candidacy for the position of the CDD of Lake Ashton in Lake Wales, Fl. I will follow the steps of the late Jeff Salvin. My main goal is to weed out the crooks, thief’s, liars, dummy’s and the undesirables that are now presently running the CDD here at Lake Ashton. We can not afford 2 more years of the present leaders. Each CDD candidate has either called the police on us, they have stole money from all the Bingo Players, They have chat meetings and give out false information and thinks they know all the answers (she is still working on the drain pipes), and violated the Lake Ashton amenity’s by placing voting signs all around the club house. None, not one has any of these CDD members has done anything for the residents of Lake Ashton but cause trouble.
I also wish to make known that no Community district leader director shall have a shirt open that exposes her breast to the residents of Lake Ashton. That person will be fired. Also any director caught lying shall also be fired.
Here is what I have done for this community!
1. I have stopped the spraying of pesticides in Lake Ashton, and the state issue a violation to the management of the community.
2. I have stopped the flow of mud into Lake Ashton and also the state ordered the management to plant trees and scrubs along the banks of the streams.
3. I stop the ban of Pick-up trucks here in Lake Ashton, without much help from the residents. Got the Ledger involved and Channel 10 News.
4. I had the ELVIS show which everyone enjoyed. It was a sold out crowd. All money went to Give Kids the World.
I asked the present CDD members what have you done to help people live better here at Lake Ashton? Answer: Ban Ed King for 4 months. The person who has done more than anyone else in this community. What a bunch of ???????

Tricia Adams and Carol Pontious are telling everyone to be a good neighbor by reporting your guest at the clubhouse activities desk. How is this possible? If you don’t, are they going to ban you from the clubhouse? This rule is a slap in the face. They want to know who is in your house? I say it is none of their damn business. Before you know it, they want to know what animal lives in your house. This is not a community but a control community by the lairs and thief’s that are running it. See page 11 of the November issue. First it was the MX, roads, no sidewalks, ban from writing to June Young web site, High storage fees, Do nothing and lair Joe Hunter, Now Tricia Adams and Carol Pontious, Short driveways, Pick-up trucks, what is next? No one has the guts to say anything. Now there are a large number of homes for sale, I wonder why. You can’t sell them, new homes are selling less than old homes. Yes, the residents are being screw again.

BIG BUCKS BINGO OPERATORS SENTENCED FOR CONSPIRACY TO DEFRAUD THE IRS
William J. Tway and Robert J. Ford were sentenced today in federal court in Boise for conspiracy to defraud
the Internal Revenue Service through their operation of Big Bucks Bingo in Garden City.
U.S. District Judge Robert J. Timlin sentenced each man to six months of incarceration followed by nine
months of home detention. He also ordered each of them to pay a fine of $30,000.
In sentencing Ford and Tway, Judge Timlin called their activities "an elaborate and prolonged scheme designed
to generate substantial income" for them, and said they had "undermined the functions of government" by
defrauding the IRS.
Ford and Tway ran Big Bucks Bingo starting in 1996 under a provision in the state constitution that permits
bingo and raffle games operated by qualified charitable organizations. A related state law requires that at least
20 percent of the annual gross revenues of the games must be given to charitable or nonprofit organizations
to be used for charitable purposes.
In April of this year, Ford and Tway were found guilty of conspiring to file false returns with the IRS,
substantially overstating the amount of monies that were actually given to charity. Tway was also convicted of
aiding and abetting the filing of false returns in 1999 and 2000 for the Free Speech Foundation, one of the
charitable or non-profit entities that operated Big Bucks Bingo.
"Today's sentencing demonstrates that those who willfully attempt to undermine our tax system by playing
fast and loose with the rules will be held accountable regardless of how complicated a scheme they devise,"
said Paul Camacho, the acting IRS Special Agent in Charge for Idaho.
"The Idaho Constitution makes it clear that bingo is only authorized when it substantially benefits a charitable
organization, not just its operators," said First Assistant United States Attorney Marc Haws, "and the Idaho
Legislature has acted to give specific meaning to that provision. The sentences imposed today should send a
clear message to others that the law and the Constitution will be enforced."
