Boat Dock

The docks require insurance, maintenance and utilities to be paid. If the CDD lays claim to the docks, who will pay these fees?

ALL OF US, through our CDD fees ... not just the boaters who want to dock their boats

Let's leave it as it stands, and let the developer cover all the costs of ownership and the let the boaters, who use them, pay.

Please note, the CDD pays for the Bowling Alley, Restaurant, Ballroom, Shuffleboard, Tennis Courts, Movie theater, Billiard room, Craft room, Card room then why not the Docks?

Presently, The boat dock is costing the developer money, there are just a few boats there and it is not paying for the up keep. For $50.00 plus tax, a month, no way would I dock my boat for that price. Also you have to pay another $50.00 to store your trailer. You have to remember that it is difficult to cover your boat. There are no lugs on your boat to hook the cover too. That is why I don't use the dock.
