Wake up Lake Ashton Residents

When I first moved in 5 years ago, we had lots of shows, activities, travel, and things to do. Now there is hardly nothing thanks to the fee they charge in renting the community hall. And if you do rent the hall, Trish Adams and Joe Hunter tells you what to do and how to do it. No, its no fun to start anything here at Lake Ashton. You have people who call the cops on you, people who accusing you of things you didn't do. Bingo money being stolen from Bingo players and spend on other things other than charity. Developer who goes belly up when he thinks there is trouble ahead, Chinese drywall and than the roads. No sidewalks here so you have to walk in the roads. A restaurant that the residents has to pay all the water, electric and maintenance cost while the developer keeps the profits. There seems to be somethings wrong here with this community. We are hiring Lawyers hand over fist and there is no end in sight. Cable, dock, roads and yet no issue is in sight. Yes, Lake Ashton is going down hill and we have to hired lawyers to solve our problems. What is going on here? People are scared to speak their mind. Yes they are the ones who turn the other way and just read the L A Times and all the ads control by the developer and still eat in the restaurant. Where are these people coming from? No high school education, just high school drop outs. We have one resident that started a blog with lots of things to say, drop it without notice and never once send me a story to write. We all know her but she hides behind her husband we all know.

Send all inquires to lakeashtontalk@yahoo.com
I want to hear from you.
